Trek FX 7300 bikes and comprehensive navigation,
which includes GPS and details of local services. We have
a very
extensive knowledge of the region - we live here after
all!
A unique program we offer is Create-Your-Own
cycling holiday.
Rent a bike from us and choose which of our services you
want to include or exclude from your cycling holiday. This
makes for a more flexible, independent cycle trip.
 Greenways Travel Club / Topbicycle has arranged active vacations
and special interest tours along the Vienna-Prague
Greenways since 1996 and it is still our most popular bicycle tour.
This unique, cultural trail and non-profit initiative benefits
local communities and leads through beautiful, small Czech
villages and towns. The highlights of this trail are Mikulov
and the Lednice-Valtice Area in the South Moravian winegrowing
region; Vranov by the Dyje river; the historical towns of
Slavonice, Telc and Jindrichuv Hradec and finally Cesky Krumlov,
a medieval town surrounded by the Vltava river.
 Among our other cycle tours we offer the Labe
river trail from Prague to Dresden, cycling along river valleys of the
Vltava and Labe rivers. Our Czech
Gothic tour, showing architectural
highlights from Brno to Prague, passes through the royal
city of Kutna Hora and a stop on the way is Santini’s pilgrimage
church in Zelena Hora – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For
nature lovers our Sumava
Mountains Trail takes you through
small mountain villages in Sumava National Park and Biosphere
reserve. Ride through Moravia on our Moravian
Trail, seeing
the award-winning gardens at Kromeriz and traditional outdoor
museum at Roznov pod Radhostem.
 Take in the natural and cultural heritage of Slovakia with
our Romantic
Slovakia tour. Cycle through Trnava, so-called
Slovak Rome for its fortifications and churches; Piestany,
an infamous spa town; historical Trencin and Krmnica and
finally Bojnice with its romantic chateau. Alternatively,
follow the ancient, Celtic amber trading route from South
to North Europe – the Amber
Trail tour? This classic Slovak
bike trip, leads from the waters of the Danube to the springs
in the mountains of Slovakia.
Former Czechoslovakia is a perfect country for cycle holidays.
With the largest density of castles and chateaux per square
kilometer in Europe and incredible, un-spoilt mountain, forest,
river and wetland landscapes, there is so much to see. As
a result of the Communist ideal that ‘all villages should
be connected’, there exists an extensive network of paved,
third class roads with the least amount of traffic – ideal
conditions for cycling. |
