About us
Greenways Travel Club - GTC
Based in Mikulov, in the heart of the
South Moravian region of the Czech Republic (see
the intro), GTC specializes
in soft tourism, particularly for small groups and
individuals. We are known for giving special attention to
your personal
tastes and requests and are in our 10th year of serving
tourists along the Vienna-Prague Greenways.

Tomas
Leskovjan - founder

Tomas
has been organizing active tourism holidays since 1996
and has been involved in the tourism industry since 1992. He loves cycling
in South Moravia with his daughters. He is interested in nature, particularly
birds of prey restoration projects. |
Nada
Sojkova - product manager
|
|
|
Nada
has a strong background in tourism, having previously
worked in a travel agency. She is our keystone in the
office. She has lived and worked both in the USA and
the UK. |
| Todd Hammond - sales manager |
|
Todd
Hammond is a native of Michigan, USA. He came to the
Czech Republic in 1990 as a volunteer English teacher.
He has worked as a translator, and recently joined the
GTC team in Mikulov. Among his hobbies are history, choir
singing, hiking, and cats and dogs. |

Petra
joined our team in 2013. She spent some time in the
UK and has studied English at the Masaryk University
since 2011. She likes cycling, reading, watching movies,
skiing, believes that seeing new places is the best way
to
broaden one´s horizons and her motto is „where there
is a will, there is a way“. |
Ladislav
Ptacek - guide

Ladislav
has translated a book by the leading author, James
Carter on Heritage Interpretation. Heritage interpretation
is, in essence, how to present natural and cultural
heritage in an interesting and informative way. Expect
to learn something new and be taken care of when Ladislav
is your guide! |
Barbora
Hammond - guide
|
|
|
Barbora
has been proclaimed as “National Treasure of the Czech
Republic” by some of our clients on a tour. She is
local history enthusiast and loves to pass this on
to our clients. She will charm you with the delights
of Central Europe. |

Sibyla - guide |
|
|
Brano
works in tourism in Slovakia where he specializes
in our Slovak routes. He enjoys both mountain and
road biking and has spent some time in the U.K.,
the U.S. and Australia. His motto is "No Problem".

Sibyla - guide |

|
Pavel
(the brother of Brano above) is a historian working
at the Gemer-Malohont Museum - one of the oldest in
Slovakia. He has studied and worked in travel and tourism
in Australia for a year and also spent a year in the
U.S. He loves to ride his bicycle. |

Rohac - guide |
|
|
Jano
has been active in setting up the Amber Trail Greenway
linking projects of communities between Budapest and
Cracow. |
| Tomas
Stanek - guide |
|
Tom
gained his professional experience as a Central European
tour guide for American choirs and orchestras and now
he combines it with his love for mountain bike riding.
He is very responsible, but loves humor, good stories
and having fun. You will not be bored if Tom is your
guide. |

Nebesky - guide |
 |
Richard
was born in Praha and started traveling at the age
of 11 when his parents took him to Australia. After
he finished University for several seasons he skied & cycled
his way around the Alps and Rocky Mountains. His wonder
trek by bicycle, on foot or other means from Europe
to Australia, across Asia, ended at the Lonely Planet
office – life of a travel writer and photographer followed. |

Sulak - guide |

Everyone has a good time with Libor. A friendly, Czech
national, he loves showing people the Czech Republic,
giving them a better understanding of history and what
life is like.

Tomas Svoboda has thousands
of driving kilometers behind him on roads in all conditions
throughout Central Europe. |
